Stephen Blakley

Stephen Earl Blakley, 64 of Indianapolis, IN passed away May 16, 2007. He was the son of the late Earl A. and Margaret Jeanne (Bugbee) Blakley. Steve retired as co owner of Blakley Corp. in 1999 for 35 years where he was Vice President. He was a member of the American Soap Box Derby Association and helped inner city kids build cars and was the former coach of the Fishers Youth Soccer League as well as an Eagle Scout. Steve was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Marine Corps as a Sergeant. He was a graduate of North Central High School and Indiana University. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday May 22nd at 10:00 AM in the Church of the Nativity Episcopal Church, 7300 Lantern Rd, of which he was a member, with family and friends gathering on Monday May 21st from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel. Steve is survived by his wife, Nancy Thienes Blakley and his children, Ryan (Kirsten) Blakley, Larisa (Rob) Bohlsen and Rebekah (Brett) Trigg.
