Richard Latta

Richard P. Latta, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away May 28, 2007. He was born July 6, 1947 in Montezuma, KS. to Irvin and Evelyn Unruh Latta. Richard graduated from Montezuma High School in Montezuma, KS; Dodge City Junior College in Dodge City, KS and earned both his Bachelor?s and Master?s degrees from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. He started his career with Elanco, a division of Eli Lily in 1973. Rich held various positions which included traveling all over the world until his retirement in 2002. Since then he has been volunteering with Habitat for Humanity traveling to New Orleans and Mississippi. In addition to his farm land in Kansas, Rich was also in the midst of building a home on his mountain view land in Loveland, Colorado. Rich is survived by his mother, Evelyn Latta of Montezuma, KS; his nephew, John Latta of Atlanta, GA. and his soul mate, Susan Bruns of Indianapolis, IN.
