Karen Wiemann

Karen Motta Wiemann, 57 of Sheridan, IN passed away Saturday, November 24, 2007 in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. Karen was born September 12, 1950 in Providence, RI to Alfred and Carmelita Motta. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Carmel, IN. Karen was a volunteer for St. Vincent Hospital Foundation and Birthright. She was also a member of Meridian Hills Country Club and the Aging Babes Book Club. Karen graduated from Roger Williams School of nursing and she married Michael C. Wiemann, MD on September 25, 1988. Karen is survived by her loving husband and their daughter, Alexandra; her parents, Alfred and Carmelita Motta; and her sister, Jo Ann Woods. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 East 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 10:30 am in St. Luke Catholic Church, 7575 N. Illinois Street, Indianapolis, IN.
