David Smith Wiley, 47, passed away on December 25, 2007 in Manteca, California. He lived in Manteca, California for four years. David served in the United States Army for over 20 years and is a retired SFC. He worked for the U.S. Post Office in Modesto, California as a mail room clerk. David loved bowling. He was an avid state quarter collector and hat collector; his collection included over 700 baseball caps. He loved the Chicago Bears NFL team, and even had his VW bug custom-built and painted with the Chicago Bears logo and colors. He also enjoyed cooking and taking his daughters to sporting events. He had a very special love for his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
