Everett E. Agan, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away February 9, 2008. He was born January 21, 1922 in Lebanon, Indiana to Earl V. Agan and Grace M. (Fletcher) Agan Latta. A WWII veteran, Everett served with the Army Air Forces from 1942 to 1945. He survived 48 war-time missions aboard a B-24 in the China-Burma-India Theater as a Staff Sergeant Armorer/Gunner, earning multiple decorations and citations, including two Bronze Stars, the Distinguished Flying Cross and a Presidential Unit Citation. Everett enjoyed a long and successful career with the Aero Mayflower Transit Company, rising through the ranks to become president of Rover of Indiana, a subsidiary of Mayflower from which he retired in 1983. He attended First Baptist Church of Indianapolis. Survivors include his loving wife Marie (Johnson) Agan; two sons, J. Douglas (Leslie) Agan and Daniel C. (Lisa Greig) Agan; three grandchildren, Jason Douglas, Joshua Daniel and Matthew Daniel Agan; three step grandchildren, Andrew, Charles and Ambre Zimpleman; one step great grandchild, Liam Zimpleman and one brother, Robert William Agan of Independence, Ohio.
