John M. Rohm

John M. Rohm Jr., 62, of Indianapolis, passed away February 11, 2008. He was born January 19, 1946 in Hibbing, Minnesota to John M. and Harriette (Fiola) Rohm. John was a 1964 graduate of Cathedral High School where he was a member of their basketball team. He attended the University of Dayton where he played on the basketball team which competed for the national title in 1967 against UCLA; John graduated from the University of Dayton in 1968. He served in the United States Army; discharged in 1972 and served in the Peace Corps for one year. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. Survivors include his sister, Teresa M. Rohm and his brother, Frank M. Rohm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14 at St. Luke Catholic Church. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
