Betty Swails

Betty A. Swails, 84, of Carmel, passed away May 31, 2008. She was born on April 12, 1924 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Donald and Denzel (Overbey) Millikan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Swails. Jr.; son, James R. Swails and sister, Jeannie Hopkins. Survivors include her children, Cherie (Larry) Isley, Sande Callahan, Debbie (John) Collins and Steven (Shandra) Swails; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and sister, Dorothy Melton. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. in Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel. Burial will follow in the Carmel Cemetery.
