Armand Harold Courtot, 83, departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on July 19, 2008. He was a 1941graduate of Broad Ripple High School. After 25 years, Armand retired from Reynolds Aluminum Company as well as 14 years part time with Kimberly-Clark Corporation. He proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army. He was in Myanmar (formerly Burma) and the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) preparing to parachute into Bangkok, Thailand. On June 15, 1946, Armand united his life in love and marriage to Donna Jean Butler being a devoted husband for 62 years. He became the loving father to his sons, Armand Max , wife Kathi, Daniel John and Dennis Alan, wife Polly; grandfather to five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A man of deep Christian faith, he enjoyed many years as head usher, Deacon and making sure everyone felt welcome in his church. The homegoing service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in Colonial Hills Baptist Church, of which he was a member, with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the church.
