Henrietta Lucille Lamb, 86, of Westfield, passed away September 15, 2008. She was born on March 10, 1922 in New Augusta, IN to the late Henry and Osa Hollingsworth Simmons. Henrietta graduated from Pike High School and then attended Indiana Business College. She was employed with ASC for thirty nine years as well as farming along side her husband, Raymond for fifty five years in Hamilton County. Henrietta was a member of the John Purdue Club and a fifty year member of the Order of Eastern Star Radiant Chapter #200. She also served on the Carmel Town Council Zoning Board for ten years. Some of the joys of life for Henrietta included playing cards, gardening and painting. She and Raymond were great supporters of the Carmel High School athletic and musical events for over 50 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Simmons; sisters, Irene Brooks, Evelyn Simmons and Maxine Roehling. Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, William ?Raymond? eptember 19, 2008 from 1-3 p.m. in the Salem Lutheran Church, of which she was a life time member and played the piano and sang in the choir, 4700 W 72nd Street, Indianapolis, IN. Visitation will continue to be held in Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. in the mortuary with burial following in Carmel Cemetery.
