Kathy Holman

Kathy Brinkerhoff Holman, 62, died Saturday, November 1, 2008. Kathy graduated from North Central High School and acquired her B.S. and Masters degrees from Ball State University. Kathy taught high school Biology for many years and then preceded to receive her PhD in psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington in 1992. She held a private practice in psychology and also went back to teaching psychology at North Central High School. She was an active member of St. Luke?s United Methodist Church and also a member of the I.U. Alumni Board of the School of Education. Kathy loved to drive her car cross country by herself and explore new areas of the country. Kathy?s love of life and her positive spirit touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her parents, Winnie and Burt Brinkerhoff; her husband, Jerry Holman; her children, Cat and Jason; and her son-in-law, Steve Stone. A service, celebrating Kathy?s life, will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 6 in the Robertson Chapel at St. Luke?s United Methodist Church.
