Barbara E. Osborne

Barbara E. Osborne 66, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully November 6, 2008. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Errol and Patricia Porter. Barbara graduated from North Central High School and later attended Butler University. She also sat on the Board of Directors for the family steel company, Indiana Steel Fabricating, where she retired from earlier this year. Her memberships included Alpha Beta chapter of Tri Kappa. In her free time Barbara enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include; two daughters, Sue Ellen Osborne-Bickel (Larry) of Fleming Island, FL, Sally Caldwell (Joe) of Advance, IN a son, Scott Osborne (Amy) of Liberty Township, OH; brothers, Stephen Porter (Sharon) of Carmel, IN David Porter (Debby) of Denver, CO, Wade Porter (Beth) of Indianapolis, IN seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will gather Monday, November 10, 2008 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel,740 E. 86th.
