Robert W. Dearing 74 of Indianapolis passed away suddenly on November 11, 2008. Bob was the son of the late Leslie Edward Dearing and Dorothy (Juhnke) Dearing born on November 7, 1934 in Chicago, IL. He retired in 1989 as Vice-President for First Indiana Bank where he was employed for 32 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, The Gyro Club of Indianapolis, Indianapolis Public Relations Society and was their past president, Indianapolis Advertising Club where he was their past president, former member of Northwest Kiwanis Club, member of Advertising Review Board of the Better Business Bureau of Indianapolis, Speakers Bureau for the Indianapolis Indians, OVID Butler Society Board of Directors, Sigma Chi Fraternity, Indianapolis Board of Associates of Rose Hulman University, Indianapolis Advertising Association, Broadcast Pioneers, Murat Shrine Club, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. He was a former resident of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin from 1989 to 1994 and was a member of the Board of Directors of Oconomowoc Chamber of Commerce, and Past President of the Oconomowoc Kiwanis Breakfast Club. etic Club. He survived by his wife of 28 years; Kathy (Snodgrass) Dearing and is the father of; Deborah Ann (Karl) Fancher, Douglas M. (Vicki) Dearing, Scott E. (Lori) Dearing and the grandfather of; Ryan (Natalie) Fancher, Brandon, Aaron Fancher, Devin, Brady Dearing, Samantha, Grace and Megan Dearing. His aunt also survives; Ruth J. Trela. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday November 15, 2008 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3535 Kessler Blvd. E.
