Cheryl Mackey Colby, 61, passed away November 14, 2008. She was born on March 19, 1947 in Evansville, Indiana and graduated from Harrison High School in 1965. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority at DePauw University, where she graduated in 1969. Cherri owned and operated Colby Antiques and Interiors for many years. She was the longest active member of St. Margaret?s Guild (1979-2008) and a lifetime member of Stansfield Circle. Survivors include her husband, Kim O. Colby; children: Christopher D. Colby (Kimberly), Candace C. James (Andrew), Christopher M. Carpenter (Tonya), Jennifer R Pease (Russell), and J. Nicholas Colby (Kelly). She was a very special ?Mimi? to nine Grandchildren: Barret, Courtney and Sydney Colby; Samantha and Elizabeth James; Taylor and Haley Carpenter; Carter Pease and Audrey Colby. She is also survived by her father and step-mother, H. Kenneth and Nancy Mackey; brother-in-law John R. Colby II (Peggy) niece Keli Colby. She was preceded in death by her mother Lena Carter Mackey and mother-in-law Audrey O. Colby.
