Bradford Hale

Bradford Rawson Hale, Sr. M.D. 70, of Indianapolis, died January, 8, 2009. He was born January 3, 1939 in Butte, Montana to Dr. Donald Emerson Hale, Sr. M. D., and Marian Pomroy Hale. Brad received his undergraduate degree at Miami University of Ohio and completed medical school at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Riley Hospital of Indianapolis. Brad served in the United States Navy, 1965 ? 1967, before going into private practice for pediatric neurology. Brad served as the past President of the Indianapolis Medical Society. Brad enjoyed the outdoors and some of his favorite activities included camping, canoeing, hiking, playing his trombone and a multitude of other instruments. Brad was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Malcolm Hale. He is survived by children, Ann (Tim) Prescott, Karen (Bob) Yott, Brad (Lori) Hale, John Hale, Gretchen Hale; his friend and former wife, Sue Ann (Welsh) Hale; 4 grandchildren, Collette, Zach, Katie, Charlie; and his wonderful brothers, Donald and Edward.
