Julia T. Steffen

Julia T. Steffen, 83, of Westfield, passed away March 18, 2009. Julia was a member of the Indiana Veterinary Auxiliary, Charter Member of the Indiana Morgan Horse Association, American Morgan Horse Association and the Westfield Chamber of Commerce. She had worked as the Business Manager of her husband?s Westfield Animal Clinic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Paul Steffen, DVM.; sons, Gregory and Vincent Steffen. Survivors include her children, Victor (Joella) Steffen of San Rafael, CA, Valerie Steffen of Westfield, IN, Mark Steffen of Lapel, IN and Bridget (Jeff) Burns of Westfield, IN; six grandchildren, Megan, Joel, Brandon and Graham Steffen, Simon and Tiffany Burns. Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 20, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. in Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will follow in Chester Friends Cemetery.
