Thomas R. Taggart

Thomas R. Taggart, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away August 1, 2009. He was born in Wilmington, Delaware March 30, 1952 to the late Jesse F. and Marian (Willson) Taggart and they preceded him in death. Tom was the owner of Trumpington Building Corporation and along with his wife, co-owned the Glass Chimney Restaurant in Carmel. He enjoyed gardening and most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends; Tom did not know a stranger. He had a wide circle of friends but his family was first and foremost in his life, he had a great appreciation for the generations that came before him. He will be missed by all. Survivors include his wife, Jenny (Young) Taggart; two children, Mary Katherine ?Katie? and William R. ?Will? Taggart and nine siblings, Art, Jim, Jesse and Mary Anne Taggart, Lois Zakowicz, David Taggart, Tricia Bosley, Julia Jordan and Ruth Taggart. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, August 4 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis.
