was a member of Highland Country Club, winning several tournaments there, and Meridian Hills, serving on the board of each. In October 2009, George would have celebrated 80 years as a member of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, where he served as Deacon, Elder and chairman of the Trustee Board. Known for his love of people, his integrity and his humor, he lived his dream -- to be active until his last few days. He is survived by his adored wife and daughters; sons-in-law Tom Cunningham, Mark Albrecht and Kent Mutchmore; and grandchildren Andrew Cunningham; Morgan, Matt (wife Chelby) and Michael Albrecht; and Paige and Carter Mutchmore. A celebration of George?s life will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, 418 E. 34th Street, Indianapolis. Friends are invited to call between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the church parlor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Tabernacle Presbyterian. Care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis. www.leppertmortuary.com.
