Harry C. Elliott, 93, of Carmel, passed peacefully away on December 1, 2009. He was a lifelong resident of Indiana, born in New Maysville, and residing in Carmel since 1959. A retired realtor and builder, Harry was one of the first residential builders to foresee a future economic boom in Carmel and began residential building in 1959, continuing with apartments, and then one of Carmel?s first shopping centers, Elliott?s Mohawk Place on S. Rangeline, as well as Shoshone Place, also on Rangeline Road. Harry was a member and officer of Indiana?s Association of Realtors for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Aimee (Jensen) Elliott, and is survived by five sisters, Bonnie Shea, Greencastle, Lois Rizzo, Phoenix, Wilma Vaught, Carmel, Doris Brier, Crawfordsville, and Ruby Vaught, Crawfordsville. He is also survived by one brother, Earl Elliott, Crawfordsville, two daughters, Sonna Elliott, Long Beach, CA, and Vivian (Elliott) Lawhead, Carmel, as well as four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
