Marilyn S. Albright

Marilyn J. Albright, 78, of Carmel, died on December 2, 2009. She was born on September 4, 1931 to Herman and Lucille Sands in Indianapolis. Marilyn attended Broad Ripple High School and graduated from Evansville Central High School and Purdue University. Marilyn was an active member and served in many offices for the Chi Omega Sorority alumnae group, for Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, and for numerous other civic organizations. She is survived by husband, Richard Albright; daughters Susan Highley (Jerry) and Carol Albright; grandchildren Brett and Margaret Highley; and twin sister Marietta Johannson. Friends and family may gather on Sunday, December 6, 2009 in the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 11:00am at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church with visitation two hours prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orchard Park Presbyterian Church: Haiti Christian School of New Vision, or to Leader Dogs for the Blind of Rochester, Michigan.
