Roberta Quandt, 66, of Indianapolis, died on Friday, February 12, after having been diagnosed with Mesothelioma in 2007. She had retired in 2003 after 30 years of teaching English at North Central High School, to ride horses, travel, garden, and golf with her husband, North Central High School Principal CE Quandt. Roberta leaves behind her three favorite things ? grandson Jake Hogan (6) and granddaughters Caly (6) and Quinn (1) Plowman ? who knew her as their ?Diboo.? Roberta Quandt held a BS and an MA from Butler University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi fraternity for women. Roberta is preceded in death by her father, Harry E. Bowsher. She is survived by her mother, Shirley Echols (Ray); her aunt, Catherine Purves; her sister, Andi Feezle (Bob); and her brother, Greg Bowsher (Cynthia Orr). Roberta is also survived by her daughters, Kristin Chapman Hogan (Brian J. Hogan) of Indianapolis and Kady Chapman Plowman (Clay Plowman) of Los Angeles. The Memorial Service will be at Zionsville Presbyterian Church after the calling from 1-5 on Thursday, February 18.
