Karl Wilhelm Fricke, age 78, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010. Born June 25, 1931, in Herne, Germany, he was the son of Christoph Wilhem Karl and Karoline Luise (Hohlt) Fricke who preceded him in death. His brother, Arnold Fricke also preceded him in death.
Mr. Fricke was an alterations manager at L.S. Ayers for 38 years, and after that, was employed at Jacobson?s for 10 years. He was a U.S. Marine, loved to travel and read, was fond of animals, and was a member of the Humane Society.
Survivors include his wife, Trudy (Hoer) Fricke; his two sons: Karl W. Fricke and Michael David Fricke; and 2 grandchildren: Zachary and Natalie Taylor.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 East 86th Street, with calling there from 4 to 6 p.m.
