Brenda Lee Griffin
Brenda Lee Callahan Griffin, age 68, of Carmel, formerly of Spencer, IN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 2:31 a.m. on September 8, 2010. Born June 27, 1942, in Carmel, she was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Bracken) Callahan, who preceded her in death. Her husband, Perry D. Griffin, whom she married on June 19, 1960; her sisters: Mary Platt Murray Calvin, Ruth Ann Callahan, Elizabeth Renee Trowbridge; her brothers: Charles Stephen Callahan, Michael Callahan; and nephews: Todd Alan Murray and Jacob Westman also preceded her in death. Brenda worked at Cox?s grocery in Carmel in the 60?s and most recently at the Carmel Care Center in Carmel from 1994 ? 2004. She was a member of White Chapel Church in Carmel and a member of the 40/8 Auxiliary ? LeFemmes. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Gene Personett Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel, with burial to follow at Carmel Cemetery.
