David Lowden Holmes

David Lowden Holmes, age 55 of Indianapolis passed away December 15, 2010 in St. Vincent Hospice. He was born on March 25, 1955 to John Copeland Holmes and Sara Jane Lowden Holmes who survive. David was a member of Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge, Players Club, and was a Star Boy Scout and a member of Meridian Street United Methodist Church and was with the MYS for three summers in their mission trips which he enjoyed. He graduated from North Central High School in 1973 and DePauw University in 1977 and was affiliated with Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. The true enjoyment of his life was his love of writing. He formally was with the family business of Associated Services Corporation and was their secretary treasurer at the time it was sold in 1985. He then joined Traub & Company and currently was a Indiana Licensed Home Appraiser. David is survived by his parents and his sisters; Suzanne (Carl) Mills, Carmel, In and Kathryn (James) Emison of Birmingham, Alabama along with five nieces and nephews and two great nephews and one great niece.
