hildren evidenced by his frequent presence at school and sports functions. He loved basketball, tennis, swimming, and long daily walks. Probably his happiest days were spent with Marty enjoying family and friends at his Fisher Lake, Michigan, lake home where everyone was welcome. In particular, every Fourth of July, the entire family of 30+ members descended on the lake house for a busy and boisterous time of joyous family celebration. He is survived by one daughter, Terry Scheidler (Bob) Williams of Granger; and four sons, Mark Scheidler (Kathy) of Fishers, John Scheidler (Jamie) of Indianapolis, Dr. David Scheidler of Carmel, and Bill Scheidler (Colleen(Cokie)) of Indianapolis. He was especially proud of his 18 wonderful grandchildren: Jeff, Katie, John Casey, and Danny Williams; Susan and Annie Scheidler; John, Joey, and Jimmy Scheidler; Bill, Mike, and Becca Scheidler; and Matthew, Tim, Amy, Julie, Danny, and Sarah Scheidler. He was looking forward to the arrival of his first two great-grandchildren ? identical twin boys born April 6, 2011. He was preceded in death by Marty, his beloved wife of 58 years; his parents; his sisters: Dolores Terhune Hinga of Muncie, Marie Carola Scheidler of Muncie, and Sister Lawrence Ann Scheidler SC of Cincinnati; and his twin brother and best friend Hubert Anthony Scheidler of Terre Haute. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Drive (East of Keystone on 71st Street), Indpls, IN 46240. Friends may call on Friday, April 8, 2011, from 3:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Leppert Mortuary, 740 E. 86th St, Indpls, IN 46240. Entombment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers.
