Donald Lee Hocker

Donald Lee Hocker, age 81, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011. Born September 11, 1929, he was the son of the late Lee and Maude (Clark) Hocker. A daughter, Sandy Hocker, and a brother, David Hocker, also preceded him in death. Mr. Hocker loved sports and was an avid Colts fan and also coached his sons baseball and football teams. He was a Marine veteran and past member of both the Antelope Lodge and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Nancy (Kec) Hocker; his daughter, Debra Turner; his sons: Steve Hocker and David Hocker; his sister, Ruth Moore; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A visitation to celebrate his life will be Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel. A short memorial service will follow the visitation.
