Joseph Foster Ruch, age 82, of Zionsville, passed away September 10, 2011. He was born on July 17, 1929 to the late Joseph and Neva Foster Ruch. He graduated from Milford High School in Milford, Indiana and attended Indiana University after enlisting and serving in the United States Navy following World War II. He worked as an Insurance Underwriter and retired as an Independent Agency Partner. Joseph was a member of Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, the Scottish Rite, Tin Can Sailors and the American Legion. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. In his spare time he was an avid fisherman, golfer, history buff and sang in various church and community choirs. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wakeman Ruch. Survivors include his sons, Glen Wakeman Ruch and Steven Eric Ruch (Susan Flory); granddaughter, Lisa Ann Ruch.
