Mary G. Kelley

Mary G. Kelley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Mary G. Kelley, 85, passed away on November 6, 2011. Mary was born on December 12, 1925 in Decatur, Indiana to Milton and Emma Girod. Following her graduation from Kirkland High School, Mary moved to the ?big city of Indianapolis? where she received her nursing degree at the Marion County General Hospital School of Nursing. In 1947 she married Hudson G. Kelley, DDS with whom she shared many happy years. Mary attended Castleview Baptist Church and volunteered for the Indianapolis Day Nursery and Crossroads Guild. Mary was preceded in death by her brother Art Girod, and her loving husband of 59 years, Hudson G. Kelley. She is survived by her devoted family including: son, Thomas (Kay) Kelley, DDS of Dana Point, CA; son, Michael Kelley, DDS of Nashville, IN; three grandchildren, Megan, Matthew and Kathleen Kelley; sister, Irene Longenberger and brother, Dwight Girod. Her family will miss her quick wit, sharp mind, and loving, generous spirit. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, her great sense of humor, and gracious hospitality.
