John R. McAllister

John R. McAllister 73 of Indianapolis, died on November 16, 2011. John was born March 25, 1938 in Marion County, IN to James and Mable McAllister. He attended Tech High School. John served in the US Army 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of the VFW. John retired as an electrician at Fort Benjamin Harrison. He is survived by daughter, Teresa (Steve) Anderson; sons, Dan (Christa), Grady and John (Angie) McAllister; Tina Tusack; grandchildren, Andrea McAllister, Kegan and Abbey Anderson; brothers, Jim, Jerry and Bill McAllister; sister, Mary Kirkman and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by sister, Peg Kleifgan. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, November 19th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel.
