James B Pulliam,

James B. Pulliam, Jr.,84, passed away December 21, 2011. He was the son of the late James B Pulliam, Sr., and Carrie M. Basler Schroer. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana and attended Wiley High School. He was a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean War. James was Vice President of Life Employment Service of Indianapolis and regional branches. Later in his career he served as the General Manager for Ace Hardware in the Indianapolis area. He was a Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite. Survivors include his daughters, Debbie Farmer (Randy) and Tina M Pulliam. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Pulliam; sister, Janet K. Roehm and his parents. Visitation will be Monday, December 26, at First Baptist Church of Indianapolis starting at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. A committal service will take place on Tuesday, December 27, at Highland Lawn Cemetery, in Terre Haute at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, Indianapolis.
