Barbara Holt

Barbara L. Holt, 82, passed away February 25, 2012. She was born in Indianapolis to the late Dee and Geneva Lenfesty. She was a graduate of DePauw University. Barbara was an outstanding volunteer with many organizations which included, Northminster Presbyterian Church, Day Nursery of Indianapolis, Girl Scouts of America, Indianapolis Museum of Art, and she also volunteered as a Public School Librarian assistant. Her memberships included Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, Northminster Presbyterian Church and the Columbia Club. Barbara was a dedicated walking enthusiast, an avid artist and painter, a bird lover, enjoyed cooking and visiting Napili Kai Maui, Hawaii, and Lauderdale by the sea in Florida. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Holt, brother, Jack and her parents. Survivors include her children, Mark Holt (Loy), Susan Holt (Jeff Braun), and Brent Holt (Heather); grandchildren, John Holt, Max and Nate Braun.
