Jerome "Jerry" Schnur

Jerome ?Jerry? Caughren Schnur, age 88, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 surrounded by his family. Born December 30, 1923, in Evanston, IL, he was the son of the late Burton and Pearl Schnur. His first wife, Alice Wolfe Schnur, daughter, Ann Schnur and two brothers also preceded him in death. Jerry was founder of Jerome Schnur and Associates Incorporated and was a member of 1st Congregational Church. Survivors include his wife, Betty (Holman) Schnur; his children: Rusty Schnur Shelton (John), Julia Schnur-Laughlin (Rick), David Schnur (Sue), Daniel Schnur (Julie), Lee Anderson (Lori), Tom Anderson (Jennifer), John Anderson (Laurie), Liz Anderson (Nick), Ann?s husband, David, 19 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 3:00 p.m., with calling one hour prior in the 1st Congregational Church at 7171 N. Pennsylvania Street.
