Betty Perry Williams

Betty Perry Williams Mrs. Williams was born July 13, 1934 and passed away after a brief illness on April 28, 2012. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rev. William Brazelton Williams, her son, William Brazelton Williams, Jr., her brother Howard Perry, and her daughter-in-law, Abigail Dalton Williams. She is survived by her sister Brenda Perry Cendrick, her son Perry Sullivan Williams, daughter-in-law Helena Snihurowycz Williams, grandsons James Dalton Williams and Benjamin David Williams, and granddaughters Sullivan Lubow Williams and Delilah Perry Williams. One of Betty?s proudest accomplishments was her college education. She worked for the University of Kentucky and began studying for her Bachelors Degree in 1971 at the age of 37. She took one or two classes at a time, while working full time, until she finally completed her degree in 1981. She then went to school full time for two years and received her Masters Degree in Family Counseling from the Department of Family Studies.
