Angela Reneé (Davis) Ohms was born April 24, 1969 and went home to be with the Lord on November 10, 2013 after a long battle with severe migraine headaches and fibromyalgia. In May 2012 she fulfilled one of her lifelong goals and graduated from Marian University with a 3.98 GPA, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Finance while working a fulltime job and pushing on through continual illness. She was overjoyed! Angie was inducted in to Delta Epsilon Sigma as a result of graduating with highest honors. DES was founded in 1939 to recognize academic accomplishments, to foster scholarly activities, and to encourage a sense of intellectual community among its members. On June 13, 2013 she excitedly married her soul mate and love of her life, Stanford A. Ohms, who was her best friend and confidante. Stan showered her with treasured love and provided many moments of humor, bringing laughter into her life. ther and a bond that could not be broken. She loved her family dearly and tried to visit them regularly. She and Stan gathered with close friends nicknamed "The Dart Crew" to enjoy a night out and play darts at Three Ds' Pub & Café in Carmel. Angie also delighted in helping others. All those who knew Angie, including her two adorable cats Lillie and Purdy will miss her bubbly personality, kind heart, listening ear, and hugs and kisses. Angie recently began working for Clark and Osborne in Indianapolis as an accountant assistant and enjoyed the office staff and job duties. Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband Stan, son Donald and new daughter-in-law Emily Tresler, sons Derek and Dustin Tresler, sisters Tammy (Scott) Tyree and Tiffany Davis, stepdaughters Kassie and Krystal Ohms, stepson Matthew Ohms, stepsisters Carrie Jeffers and Angie Asher, mother Kathe Davis-Harris, stepdad Larry Harris, father and stepmother Leon and Peggy Davis, mother-in-law, Helen Ohms, brothers-in-law Steve (Cindy) and Dan Ohms, nieces Mylissa and her husband Matthew Tyree-Kramer, Michelle Tyree, niece Amber, nephews Austin and Evan Ohms, and uncle Bill and aunt Ginny Mooneyhan, many cousins, great aunts/uncles and very special friends John and Sherri Morris from Glenwood, IN. Angie is preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother William and Esther Mooneyhan, father-in-law "Bud" Ohms, and uncle, Stephen Mooneyhan. Family and friends are invited to call from noon to 2:00 p.m. at Leppert Mortuary, Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Road, Carmel, IN on Thursday, November 14th. A service to celebrate Angie's life will immediately follow with Carlos Garcia officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her behalf to the Indianapolis ASPCA.
