and soul mate, Mike Jacobs on March 8, 2003. The relationship was inspired by true love, compassion, and a respect for each other as individuals. They were blessed with their son, Maxwell Gordon on January 22, 2005. She cherished spending time with her family and friends, but you could really see the sparkle in her eyes when she watched Max playing soccer, basketball, and recently securing his black belt in Tai Kwan Do. Max's personal achievements in sports brought a great sense of joy; however, Dana may have been most proud of the quiet time she spent reading to Max every night of his life. She was equally proud of her step-son, Michael, and she always looked forward to him coming home. Dana and Mike were a wonderful team, raising Max and Michael in the most loving and happy home imaginable. The Jacob's home was also a safe haven for her beloved West Highland Terrier, Beaumont and later to their new Boston Terrier pup named Lu Lu. She loved her dogs and they were a source of comfort and warmth while watching CSI detective shows late into the night. Dana was a dedicated mom, an adoring daughter, a beloved wife, a much cherished sister, a lovable aunt and a tried and true friend. Dana was the ribbon that tied her family together. She was always there with an infectious smile, a shoulder to cry on, and the best advice always came from her gentle heart in any situation. She found humor in most everything and loved to laugh out loud. We will spend the rest of our lives honoring, celebrating, and cherishing the memory of her.
