Patricia Eileen Marbaugh, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on Nov. 19, 2015. As throughout her life, she was surrounded by family and love. She lived life fully and touched many along the way.
Daughter of Patrick McNulty and Anne Doherty of Donegal, Ireland, she was the youngest of six children raised on Oxford St. in Indianapolis: Mary Poore, Theresa Zmoda, Sister Ann Patrick McNulty, Betty O'Connor and Leo McNulty, all whom proceeded her in death.
She married James Edward Marbaugh in 1959 and lovingly raised four children: Michael, Kathleen, John and David. She served 21 years with the Executive Service Corps, including nearly 20 years as executive director.
With the passing of her soulmate Jim in 1994, Patty continued her life-long search for meaning with her beloved children and their spouses (Beth Marbaugh, Bob Gill, Sara Marbaugh and Mary Marbaugh), her 10 grandchildren, more than 20 nieces and nephews and an intimate circle of friends.
Though diminished in body over time, her spirit never faltered. She shared her wisdom, courage and enormous capacity for love until her final, peaceful breath. With gratitude, we give "thanks for it all."
