Martha Logsdon Gorman, 84, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her Indianapolis home, surrounded by family, on November 7, 2015. She was born on April 13, 1931 in Evansville, Indiana to Hiram L. and Christine S. Logsdon. She graduated from Bosse High School in Evansville, Indiana, and National Teachers College in Evanston, Illinois. On August 20, 1955, Martha married Cuthbert P. Gorman, Jr., to whom she was happily and faithfully married for the rest of her life, sixty years in total. Bert and Martha have three children, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Martha and Bert were parishioners of St. Luke's Catholic Church for fifty years, were longtime members of Crooked Stick Golf Club, and traveled throughout the world together during their retirement. Martha volunteered with the Little Sisters of the Poor at St. Augustine Home and Day Nursery Auxiliary of Indianapolis, Inc. She enthusiastically supported the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Indianapolis Zoo, and Riley Children's Hospital, among other causes. Martha is survived by her husband, Cuthbert P.
