John M. Nygaard

Jack Nygaard, 79, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully on February 15th, 2016. Jack was born Christmas Day 1936 in Willmar, Minnesota to Milo and Edythe Nygaard. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College before starting his long career in retail management with the JCPenny Company and Marshall's retailer In 2006 he made the difficult decision to retire from Walgreens. Jack thoroughly enjoyed his career and the people he worked with. When Jack wasn't working or spending time with family, he delighted in playing golf, going to his Tuesday morning men's prayer breakfast, and getting together with "the gang" for lunch bunch. Jack was a man of God extremely devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren, and his walk with the Lord. He had an insatiable love for life and made the most of every day. He will be very missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Jeppesen Nygaard.
