hout their lives. Her nieces, nephews and their children's activities were important and of great interest. For her sons and their families, she provided a strong role model with high standards. She liked to cook. Family dinners were the center of gatherings with delicious comfort foods - always "made from scratch" - chicken and noodles, graham cracker custard pie and fruit pies with the flakiest crusts, "Ninny's" potato salad, the crispiest fried chicken, and burnt rolls. Stories about family and lots of laughter accompanied every meal. In addition to family gatherings, Lucy enjoyed reading, playing bridge, travelling, trying new things (like painting), and being with friends. The Murat Shrine Club, especially the Highlanders, provided many life-long friends and lots of fun times. She was also active for many years at Irvington United Methodist Church. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, husbands - Robert G. Marshall and Arthur Partain - her brother, sister and their spouses. To cherish her memory, she leaves: sons Rex (Judy) and Bob (Andie); four grandchildren, Jennifer White (Johnny), Kevin Marshall (Pam), Traci Baumgartner (Brad), and Robert Marshall (Katie); seven great - grandchildren, Rachel Rhoton (Ben), Amanda Kopsho (David), T.J. Swain, Drew Marshall, Ally Marshall, Katy Baumgartner, and Ellie Baumgartner; and, two great-great grandchildren, Brianna Rhoton and Hannah Kopsho.
