Paul Robert O'Connor passed away March 6, 2015, surrounded by family. He was born at home and died at home. He was born June 26, 1928 to John L. and Magdalen R. (Linnemann) O'Connor in Ft. Wayne, IN where he attended Most Precious Blood Grade School and Central Catholic High School. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea. He returned to the States and attended St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, IN. After graduation he moved to Indianapolis where he was introduced by a friend to his beloved Rita (Hegarty) O'Connor In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Mary Krock and his brothers Jim and Jack O'Connor. He is survived by sisters Jean Derheimer and Pat Meehan both who reside in Ft. Wayne. A CPA and lifelong member of the Indiana CPA Society, he worked for most of his entire career for the F.A. Wilhelm Construction/Southeastern Supply Company retiring as their CFO. He was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of Christ The King Catholic Church. He is survived by her and their five children; Anne O'Connor Clark, Ellen (David Margerum) O'Connor, Patrick (Suzanne) O'Connor, Susan (Robert) Hill, and Teresa (Scott) Lugar; ten grandchildren; Khyliana Damas, Anna Gannon, William Clark, Kate O'Connor, Kevin O'Connor, Erin O'Connor, Fred Hill, Henry Hill, Ben Lugar, and Megan Lugar, and three great grandchildren Camryn Hurley, Brayden Arnold, and Reggie Gannon. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Christ The King Catholic Church, 1827 Kessler Blvd., E. Dr., Indianapolis, with calling at the Church one hour prior. Online condolences may be left at www.leppertmortuary.com.
