Robert 'Rob' Belt

Robert "Rob" M. Belt, 55, Westfield, died unexpectedly on January 17, 2014. He was born April 13, 1958 in Indianapolis to James and Ellen Belt. He graduated from North Central High School and Indiana University. Most recently he was a manager at the IHOP Restaurant in Fishers. As a boy, Robert enjoyed horseback riding and cooking. His culinary interests led him to a long association with the restaurant business. His love of cats was a joy in his life. Survivors include his father James H. (Marcia) Belt, MD; brothers, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Belt and Thomas (Suzie) Belt, MD; nieces, Lauren (Matthew) Ketcham, Amanda (Chris) Sapp, Rachel Belt, Laura Belt; and nephews, Andrew Belt and John Belt as well as two great-nieces and one great-nephew. Robert was preceded in death by his mother Ellen Orcutt Belt and his brother Gregory James Belt.
