Robert Ogden Cannon died on October 10th, 2015, of natural causes. He was a 1953 graduate of Indiana University and served four years as an officer in the Marine Corps before taking a position with Indianapolis Power & Light Co.
In 1966 Bob joined St. Vincent Hospital as Controller before becoming Associate Administrator. Bob was instrumental in the planning, development and building of the current St. Vincent's Hospital facilities on West 86th Street and also provided leadership in the acquisition of New Hope Of Indiana, where he served as CEO for 12 years before retiring in 1996.
Bob was an avid skier, hiker and carpenter.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruthanne (Huff). He is survived by his second wife, Sandra (McGoran). He is also survived by his three sons, Lawrence (Debbie), James (Jane) and Robert (Roxanne).

Bob also had five Great Grandchildren - Jase and Jordyn Beach, Miles and Nora Donnelson, and Douglas Cannon.
