Robert David Kiley, age 77, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Tuesday September 10, 2013. Bob was born to the late Roger and Helen (Hoffman) Kiley on September 30, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN. He graduated from Little Flower Grade School where he was given an Outstanding Alumni Award. He then attended Cathedral High School and graduated from Broad Ripple High School. Bob attended Indiana University and Butler University. He was very proud that he served as Corporal in the United States Marine Corps and served from 1956 to 1960. He was general manager of WIRE Radio for many years before he stated Kiley Communications from which he retired. Bob was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Highland Golf and Country Club and their 435 Golf Group, and a 22 year member of The Junto of Indianapolis. He served on the '500' Festival as a Director and served on the steering committee for the Celebration of Catholic School Values with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. He had a passion for his Chevrolet Corvettes' for many years. ost of all being with his wife, children and grandchildren. Bob married the love of his life, Lois Kett 1n 1958 who survives and for whom he spent more than 55 years with. His children are: Greg (Susan) Kiley and their children, Ben and Alison, Scott (Sarah) Kiley, and their children, Megan, Daniel and Lauren, and Kristen (Pete) Anderson, and their children Erin, Thomas and Will. His nieces and nephews consist of: Cindy Ferrielli, Erin Kett, and Kevin Kiley. Ryan Kiley and Jeff Kiley. Bob was predeceased by his brothers: Roger and William Kiley and his brother in law Gil Kett. Friends and family will gather on Friday September 13th in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel from4:00 to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 14th at 10:00 am in St. Pius X Catholic Church with Father James Farrell celebrating. The family would like the express their appreciation and gratitude for the care of them and Bob at the Harcourt Terrace Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.
