Barbara Ann Cosgrove

Barbara Cosgrove of Carmel Indiana died January 19, 2016. She was born Barbara Ann Beutel in Chicago Illinois on July 30, 1950. Barbara was the daughter of Ernest Beutel (Jena, Germany) and Hazel Beutel (nee Zachow, Door County Wisconsin). Barbara attended St. Andrew Lurheran Day School and Luther High School North. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Barbara taught school in Indiana and worked with honors and distinctions in administration for Ameritech. She moved back to Carmel after living in Lake Zurich Illinois. She loved the Indianapolis Colts,German cooking, Barry Manilow, her dogs, and her co-workers and shoppers at the Noblesville Indiana Krogers. Barbara Ann also worked for Community Health utilizing her past Illinois experience in healthcare. Over the years Barbara confronted many personal issues and afflictions including breast cancer. She had great admiration and respect for the physicians and surgeons, nurses, and healthcare providers who cared for her. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Faith Lutheran Church, Lake Forest, Illinois Any and all donations in the memory of Barbara Ann Cosgrove should be made to St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel, Indiana and the American Cancer Society.
