Phyllis Jean Harms, 91, of Bristow, Iowa, passed away May 23, 2016, at the Parker Place Retirement Community in Parkersburg, Iowa. She was born September 6, 1924, in Dumont, Iowa, to Frank and Lela (Truax) Eisentrager in Dumont, Iowa. Phyllis graduated from Dumont High School. She was united in marriage to Harold Harms on December 6, 1945, in Dumont, Iowa. Phyllis worked as a farmwife and homemaker. She was a member of the New Hope Parish of the United Methodist Church - Dumont Center. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Harold Harms of Bristow, son Keith (Marguerite) Harms of Cedar Falls, grandchildren Joshua Harms, Erin (Blake) Colwell and Alex Pircer, brother Richard (Esther) Eisentrager of Dumont, sister Sharon (Nathan) Eilers of Hampton, sister Beverly Folken of Parkersburg. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jacalyn "Jackie" Harms, sister Lucille Cassmann, Dorothy Bruns, brothers Glen Eisentrager, Earl Eisentrager and Dale Eisentrager.
