She loved beaches and dancing. She spoke from her heart and when she offered advice she provided the help to back it up. She worried about her patients and was always available to them. Carrie cherished her friendships and the times when she could be at home with her husband and her dog, Lucy, the mini dachshund that came into Carrie's life at the same time her cancer did and never left her side. Carrie's compassion, her sense of humor and beauty of spirit were her most remarkable traits and she joyously shared those with others.
