Brenda De La Pena

Weslaco: Brenda De La Pena, 41, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 16th, 2016. She was born on July 22nd, 1974 to Pablo and Juanita De La Pena. She had nine siblings, Erica De La Pena, Eloy De La Pena, Sandra De La Pena, Jose Ricardo De La Pena, Pablo De La Pena Jr., Luis Ariel De La Pena, Juan Gabriel De La Pena, Pete De La Pena and Saul De La Pena, all living. Brenda is also survived by her mom, Juanita De La Pena, her children, Steven Al Vasquez (Govanna Hernandez), Stefani Alexa Vasquez, and Joel De La Pena (Amy De los Santos), her grandchildren, Dainian and Amelia. Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Pablo De La Pena. Brenda will always be remembered for her outgoing attitude, being the center of attention, and the life of the party. A party was not a party without Brenda. She was a very loving mother to her grown children. They were her babies, her world, and her priority. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 20th from 2-9pm. Chapel services will be held on Monday, June 20th, at 10am at McCaleb Funeral Home, Pastor David Yanez officiating, with interment to follow at Val Verde in Donna.
