Richard L Levy

Richard Leslie Levy, of Boca Raton, formerly of Boynton Beach and Hollywood, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 16, 2016. He was 90 years of age. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 8, 1926 the last surviving of ten children born to Charles A. and Deborah V. (Sasso) Levy. Mr. Levy and his family moved to Union Township, New Jersey where he lived for many years before coming to South Florida in 1968. Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during both WW II and the Korean War, attaining the rank of Lieutenant. He was a faithful member of the James M. Walley Jr. Masonic Lodge 300, being initiated in 1949 and raised to Master Mason in 1954. His beloved wife of 49 years, Selma (Fischer) Levy died on July 20, 2003. Survived by his children, Donna Holland, MD and her husband, Peter Holland, MD, Sharon Grier and her husband, Kenneth Grier, Richard L. Levy and his wife, Linda Levy. He is also survived by 6 adored grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren, sisters and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
