Dorothy Faye Wilson, 90, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa, on her 90th birthday as her family celebrated together per her wishes with friends and family as planned. Dorothy was born on June 26, 1926, in Floyd County, Iowa, to George Carl and Viola Lena Anna (Mittelstadt) Crotty. Dorothy graduated from Sheffield High School and from AIB in Des Moines. On January 6, 1951, Dorothy married Max Edward Wilson. She was an office manager for Farmers Hybrid and for Chamberlin Trailers. She was an active member of the Hampton United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, was Bible School chairman, was involved with the women's circle and the UMW; she was also a member of the Women's Club, Red Hats and REC Women's State Association. She enjoyed traveling, reading, quilting, needle point, playing cards, spending time with her coffee friends at Rustic Brew and spending time with her family.
