Nathan Anthony Tash, of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away peacefully on June 21, 2016. He was 89 age.
Born in Barre, Vermont on November 28, 1926, son of Edward and Anna (Corey) Tash. Raised and educated in Barre, Nathan enlisted into the United States Navy and served his country honorably during WW II.
Following the war, Nathan moved to Manchester, Connecticut where he lived until moving to South Florida in 1977. Before his retirement, he was a self employed house painter for many years and a communicant at Nativity Church in Hollywood.
Survived by his children, Donna Tash, Susan (Gale) Tash, Edward Tash, two grandchildren, Melissa and Edward Tash, Jr and great granddaughter, Vivian Andreson, sister Barbara Callahan, brother, Francis (Irene) Tash. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sarah (Alsup) Tash and his brother Monsignor Joseph Tash.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 30th at 10 A.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood with Rev. Fr. Victor Babin (Nativity) officiating. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens
