Edward "Ned" Caldwell, 64, of Hollywood, FL, went to be with our Lord on June 28, 2016.
Ned was born on July 11, 1951 in Coral Gables, FL. He was the son of the late Louie Caldwell and Natalie Irving. He attended Miami Springs Senior High and graduated from Holy Cross Catholic High School in Memphis, TN, in 1969.
Ned started his career as a cosmetologist/salon owner in Coral Gables, FL. Later, in 1996, he became a realtor, working for local realties and finally settling down with Charles Rutenberg Realty, LLC, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He enjoyed watching sports, cruising and was an avid golfer for 21 years.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Caldwell, his daughter, Christine Bonilla, grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor and Justin and son-in-law, Billy Bonilla, of Altamonte Springs, FL. He is also survived by his maternal aunt, Barbara Silverstein, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2016, starting at 6pm, with 7pm services at: Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street Hollywood, FL 33024. In lieu of flowers, suggested memorials to University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
